Arrests by the New London Police Department

The following arrests were recorded at the New London Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all are innocent until proven guilty.

Jean Fleurijeune, 51, of 54 Montauk Ave., Jan. 16, fugitive from justice, no bond listed.

John F. Sima IV, 32, of 32 Perry Street, Jan. 17, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right, no bond listed.

Larry Gaskill Jr., 27, of 536 Shennecosset Road in Groton, Jan. 17, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to drive in proper lane, no bond listed.

Lauren Manuel, 18, of 35 Forest Way in Colchester, Jan. 17, second-degree criminal mischief, attempt to commit third-degree burglary, $10,000 cash or surety bond.

Brian L. Howard, 32, of 35 Washington Street, Jan. 17, disorderly conduct, no bond listed.

Chauntelle M. Weckley, 33, of 35 Washington Street, Jan. 17, disorderly conduct, $1,000 non-surety bond.

Jeffery P. Chapman, 35, of 72 Noyes Ave. in Stonington, Jan. 18, driving under suspension, driving an unregistered vehicle, misuse of registration, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, cell phone violation, no bond listed.
