Arrests for January 3

The following arrests were recorded at the New London Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all are innocent until proven guilty.

Tammy Grant, 41, of 401 Thames Street in Norwich, Jan. 3, interfering with police, criminal impersonation, $1,500 cash or surety bond.

James Soctomah, Jr., 38, no address listed, Jan. 3, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving a motor vehicle without plates, failure to stop for a traffic signal, third-degree larceny, $20,000 cash or surety bond.

Joshua Williams, 20, of 239 Nautilus Drive, Jan. 3, disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, animal cruelty, $2,500 cash or surety bond.

Paul Sawicki III, 56, of 19 Alger Place, Jan. 3, possession of crack cocaine, interfering with police, $500 non-surety bond.
