New London Arrest Log

Arrests for July 29 and July 30

The following arrests were recorded at the New London Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all are innocent until proven guilty.

Frank Valdez, 19, of 492 U.S. Sub Base, Rm. 312, Groton, was charged on July 24 with criminal mischief in the third degree.

Antonio Cox, 22, of 59 Mountain Ave., New London, was charged on July 29 with failure to appear, $75 bond.

John F. Kiernan, 52, of 19 Jay St., New London, was charged on July 29 with first degree trespass. No bond was listed.

Tobias Smith, 25, of 19 Jay St., New London, was charged on July 29 with larceny in the sixth degree. No bond was listed.

Luis A. Negron, 33, of 101 Thomas Rd., Ledyard, was charged on July 29 with threatening, breach of peace in the second degree, and trespass in the third degree. No bond was listed.

Shonna E. Kennedy, 28, of 134 Litton Ave., #134, Groton, was charged on July 29 with driving under the influence. No bond was listed.

Elvin Valentin, 28, of 93 State Pier Rd., C17, New London, was charged on July 29 with operating a vehicle with an obstructed view, failing to use turn signal, driving while under suspension and without insurance. He was released on a promise to appear.

Daniel P. Perrin, 25, of 45 Ledward Ave., 1st floor, Westerly, RI, was charged on July 30 with breach of peace. No bond was listed.

Dwayne Hosley, 42, of 55 Blackhall St., New London, was charged on July 30 with operating a motor vehicle without registration or insurance.

Ayven Villafuerte, 41, of 207 Vauxhall St., New London, was charged on July 30 with third degree assault and third degree threatening. No bond was listed.

Travis Avery, 27, of 3 Pennicot Rd., Quaker Hill, was charged on July 30 with violation of probation, $20,000 bond.
