Arrests for April 2 and 3

The following arrests were recorded at the New London Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all are innocent until proven guilty.

Jay S. Gardner, 56, of 142 Fog Plain Road, April 2, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, $1,000 non-surety bond.

Steven L. Jayner, 45, of 45 Garfield Ave., April 2, interfering with police, possession of narcotics, $2,000 non-surety bond.

Brian T. Porter, 24, of 99 Cedar Street in Norwich, April 2, breach of peace, $500 non-surety bond.

Edmund Vianney, 44, of 101 Blinman Street, April 2, breach of peace, $1,000 non-surety bond.

Alan Schnam, 46, of 19 Jay Street, April 2, second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct, $1,000 non-surety bond.

William Panks, 46, of 23 Phillips Street, April 2, domestic disorderly conduct, $1,000 non-surety bond.

Robert Louis Vernon, 44, of 66 Montauk Ave., April 3, failure to appear in court, interfering with police, second-degree falsely reposting an incident, misuse of registration, operating under suspension, failure to obey a stop sign, disobeying a police officer’s signal, driving under registration, driving while using a cell phone, $10,000 cash or surety bond.

Christopher Stenz, 23, of 57 Sequoia Drive in Coram, N.Y., April 3, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving the wrong way, $1,000 non-surety bond.
