Mother and 2-Year-Old Child Hit by a Car in New London

The driver of the car was charged with reckless driving.

A driver who was “speeding” through the parking lot to catch the ferry struck a mother and her two-year-old injuring them, WFSB 3 reports. 

Police said the mother and child were walking in the parking lot of Fisher’s Island Ferry in New London when they were hit by the car. 

They suffered non-life threatening injuries, WFSB reports. The driver was charged with reckless driving.
