Man Badly Hurt In Scooter Crash
The accident happened at 1 a.m., Friday, and the injured man is at Yale-New Haven Hospital in critical condition.
New London police are looking for witnesses to an overnight scooter crash that left an unidentified man badly hurt.
The press release from NLPD:
On 07-26-13 @ 0105 hrs. a male was operating a scooter on Green St. in New London, CT. It appears that the driver swerved for an unknown reason and struck a curb causing the driver to crash. The driver was unconscious upon police arrival with apparent injuries. He was transported to L&M Hospital where it was determined that his injuries were severe enough (internal) that he was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital Trauma Center. Where he was listed in Critical Condition. Police have impounded the scooter and are investigating the crash.
