Jefferson Ave. Laundromat Robbed
New London Police Department investigates Monday incident
The New London Police Department is investigating a Monday night robbery at a Jefferson Ave. laundromat.
Deputy Chief Peter Reichard said a man went into the Granny Smith Laundromat at 191 Jefferson Ave. at about 7:45 p.m. and displayed a firearm before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money. Reichard said witnesses described the man as Caucasian or a light-skinned Hispanic male. Investigators and a police K-9 unit remain on scene.
