Gunshots Rattle a New London Neighborhood

New London Police arrest Anthony Teague for allegedly firing a gun he possessed illegally in the area of Wightman Street yesterday.

New London Police responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the area of 25 Wightman Street in New London at about 12:15 p.m. on January 15. After gathering witness statements, police arrested Anthony Teague, 29, of 40 Willets Avenue, apt. 1, in New London. There were no injuries reported as a result of the gunfire and Teague was taken into custody without incident. 

Teague was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, illegal discharge of a firearm, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and breach of peace. He is being held in lieu of a $175,000 bond.
