Elderly Man Hit By Car on Williams Street
Victim was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Broad Street near the intersection with Channing Street was closed late Wednesday after a vehicle struck a 69-year-old pedestrian.
According to a release from New London Police Deputy Chief Peter Reichard, the vehicle struck a man in the area of the 150 Williams Street and the man sustained unspecified injuries. He was brought by ambulance to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment.
Officers are collecting evidence and the area is closed off to traffic. No other information is available at this time.
