In New London the Charter revisions were made by those with the intent of becoming an all-powerful strong mayor. Not one of these people ever considered an outsider would sweep in and take that power to a level such to error so completely is all that he does, yet always find a way to blame others. The time is long overdue for the council president to take the lead and bring into check the rogue mayor that is destroying the city that the council president does profess to love so greatly. We will all see just what steps the council president will take to correct the course of the city. Should the council president succeed in that endeavor in the next few months he should be returned to office in November.  Should the council president continue his apathy in the upcoming months he MUST be replaced on the council in November.

The outright arrogance and complete disrespect for the charter and the rule of law by the office of mayor is like that exhibited no place else in history.  New London is not the mayor’s kingdom nor his playground. New London belongs to the people of the community. The people of New London need a voice.
