The other part of Colman St

Just curious. The Colman St from the intersection of Jefferson ave down to town hill is now unofficially named for Dr Martin Luther King, jr. The other part of Colman from the intersection of Colman and Broad down to Jefferson is supposed to be named in honor of a veteran. What is that part of Colman street called and who is the veteran?  Does someone know the answer?
