New London really does hate you!

Today I bought my daughter a New London Hates you T-shirt. After thinking about it I came to the conclusion that it depends on who wears the shirt for it's meaning. Now if you saw me wearing the shirt you would know who I was talking about. When I put the shirt on I want everyone to know that the New London city administration really does hate you. As some of you know I can tell you what the city is spending and what for. When I was down at El N Gee today for the rock and rummage sale I saw a lot of people that reminded me of me when I was younger. I remember that it was not what the politician was doing but more of who he was, back then. Now I see these same young people doing the same thing, I mean come on who the hell wants to see an old white guy running the city, that ain't cool. So I've decided to give you youngins a little lesson in how your money is being spent. Here we go, we have a finance director who's most famous answer to any question about the money is "I don't know" We also have an auditor who is trying to get the numbers from the finance director with the same results. Jeff Smith does not know. Okay sounds strange right. Now we have the Mayor who switches money around from Dept. to Dept. but he's cool so we pretend like we don't see that. Let's move on to the Police and Fire Dept.s who have uniform allowances. Every check and receipt I have seen for these uniforms were more to the tune of underwear and jeans and bra's and capri pants and a few swimming suits. I don't see the city paying for my clothing with my tax money so why should we pay for theirs. I am not anti union, but I am anti greedy. Two years ago the Fire Depts. overtime was about $250,000 a year. Mayor Finizio told them to cut it out with the over spending so he gave them a overtime raise of a million dollars. Duh, does that make sense to you?Now since the overtime is huge in the fire dept. the public works gets nothing. Why? I'll tell you why, it's a game that democrats have been playing for years. If you won't let us raise your taxes well then we will punish you by not picking up your garbage. So I know I have just rambled off a few things that are wrong with this city and why I think New London hates you (the taxpayer). As a once really cool girl I would like all of you really young cool people to look at the facts and not the person , when it comes to politicians. I think it would be cool if you all looked into the Libertarian party instead of being liberals. Things are changing and I want you all to stay cool so stay ahead of the game. Some day your going to wake up after a long pass out and you'll be 50 years old like me. At least my husband still thinks I'm cool. And last but not least, why would you throw your money into an empty pit with out knowing what you are getting in return? Your car taxes and your rents will be through the roof if you young folks don't get involved and just care a little bit. So yes, New London hates you.
