Murray Renshaw & Dennis Downing undermining the administration

Murray Renshaw has been trying to undermine the Finizio administration with his offers to do repairs to city hall for free. This would put a large hole in the administration’s argument to increase taxes. It has also been rumored that Dennis Downing has offered his services to do the painting. It seems that there is a coordinated grassroots effort in the works to accomplish things in New London.

One thing for sure is that the mayor and his administration will not have any of this happening while they are in control. Remember the offer from a well known citizen to pay for a new K9 for the NLPD. That offer was not responded to by the administration either. The citizens should be outraged about this.  Any talk of the public works unions objecting to any community efforts should be met with immediate privatization of their functions in totality. The city can only move ahead with direct involvement by members of the community like Murray Renshaw and Dennis Downing. The mayor and the administration need to put their petty personal issues aside and take the offers of professionals.
