This fun evening will feature a VIP Reception with William Berloni, exciting silent and live auctions, dinner stations and entertainment from The Zachenski Brothers , comprised of Jeffrey Chen on the cello and electronics, and Gregory Zaluski on the guitar and electronics. They are a genre spanning duo, combining both classical and worldly influences with modern and electronic components, creating a truly vibrant soundscape for the Fall Gala. Along with the performances, silent and live auctions will be held. Exciting auction items include:

Special guest, Broadway Star Andrea McArdle will be joining us to honor William Berloni. McArdle, who rocketed to stardom as Broadway’s original “Annie”, was the youngest performer ever nominated for the Tony® Award for Best Actress in a Musical, winning both the Theatre World and Outer Critics’ Circle Awards for her performance. McArdle worked alongside Berloni and the original “Sandy” in the smash hit on Broadway before opening London’s West End production. On Broadway, she originated the roles of Ashley in Starlight Express and Margy in State Fair, and was seen as Belle in Beauty and the Beast and as Fantine in Les Miserables. On tour, she starred in Jerry’s Girls, The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, and as Eponine in Les Miserables. Andrea has performed in concert halls from Carnegie Hall, the most prestigious showrooms in Las Vegas, the MET Opera House, and even The White House.

All funds raised through this event support the Connecticut Humane Society’s lifesaving programs and services for homeless pets.  Serving the pets and people of Connecticut since 1881, the Connecticut Humane Society finds homes for thousands of companion animals every year.
