Debt

Let's get out of debt and control our own financial situation rather than be beholden to lenders.

When you want to buy something you can only buy what you can afford, right? If you don't have enough cash then you can't get it. However, if you really really, really need something you can always take out your credit card and get it. The problem is there is going to be a limit to what you can charge. Once you exceed that limit , your friends at the credit card company will pull the plug, jack up your rates and squeeze you until you can't breath.

The smart people have figured this out and no longer subject themselves to the eventual lurking disaster that the credit card brings. We have all been there right? Christmas, a birthday, anniversary, no bucks for gas, what are you going to do? You charge it. Next thing you know $1,000 debt turns into $10,000 and that small minimum payment now cripples you every month.

The only way to beat the credit card game is not to get involved. We all know better. We all have been there. We must accept the eventual outcome for our transgressions. If you slip and fall and miss payments or maybe you are late your credit is wrecked and your life is forever scarred. But if you work hard and have restraint you can always right the ship and straighten out the mess you have made.

Here is where the U.S. government doesn't get it and they are losing their grip. Get ready for some staggering numbers. Right now the United States of America is $14,287,449,557,897 in debt. That number continues to grow every second of every day. It equates to $129,457 per citizen of this country.

These numbers are only the tip of the iceberg. As a nation the U.S. is in debt to the tune of $114,353,567,131,377 in unfunded liabilities. You see the government only needs to print more money to grab what they want. The limit seems endless. However we all know there is a limit.....The question is what are we going to do about it?

Each year we pay more than $500,000,000,000  in interest alone!!! .........We need to attack this from all angles. STOP the spending on nonsense, frivolous, reckless programs. If you lose your job and can't put gas in your tank at home, I am sure you are not going to go out and buy a brand new flat screen TV when the one you have works fine......

Stop giving money to other countries until we are back on our feet. It would be like giving a $100 to your neighbor because he needs a new computer and you can't put food on the table.......Let's be smart America. Let's get out of debt and control our own financial situation rather than be beholden to lenders....
