What's Closed In New London On Martin Luther King Day?

This is a federal and state holiday but most stores will be open.

Monday Jan. 20 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. While most stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, and liquor stores are open, the following are closed:

  • Municipal offices
  • All public schools
  • The Department of Motor Vehicles
  • State and federal courts
  • State offices
  • The post office
  • Banks
  • Libraries
  • The Stock Market
