New London's 10th Annual Festival of Trees

You can bid on a themed-tree and help raise money to help feed families in need over the holidays.

A Press Release From Neff Productions

Downtown New London Association (DNLA) and Neff Productions, invite you to the 10th Annual Festival of Trees. The Festival of Trees event raises money for New London Community Meal Center for needy families during the holiday season.

Here’s how it works: The DNLA provides live Christmas trees for designer to decorate with themes of their choice. Some themes from last year included: NFL, Grinch, Sugar Plum and Music. Then on December 7, 2013 we auction the decorated trees to the highest bidder. The DNLA will deliver the decorated Christmas trees to the winning bidders homes the next day.

Tickets for the event are $15. Tickets include beer, wine and light hors d’oeuvres. You can purchase tickets at Muddy Waters (42 Bank St, New London) or Bijou Salon & Spa (256 Boston Post Rd, Waterford) or just purchase tickets at the door. Proceeds from the auction were donated to the New London Community Meal Center to provide holiday meals to local families. We also work with The Covenant Shelter and donate decorated Christmas trees to families who can’t afford to buy and decorate one.

The Festival of Trees will be held at 6 p.m. at 133 Bank St (the old Jason furniture store), New London. Come and enjoy the holiday of giving at this great event. For more information call Barbara J. Neff  (860) 443-3786
