Help Send New London Students To Italy

The Science and Technology Magnet High School of Southeastern Connecticut will hold its second annual tag sale on January 25 and is in need of items to sell and auction. Items can be dropped off during school hours or on Jan. 4, 11, and 18.

The 2nd annual Tag Sale with Live Auction is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Science and Technology Magnet High School of Southeastern Connecticut.

The tag sale is one of many fundraising initiatives for the group of students who will be traveling to Italy in April as part of the school’s exchange program. The tag sale runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the live auction at 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will go toward travel expenses and field trip costs. Event organizers are seeking donations of gently used items including clothes, furniture, household items, kitchen items and more.

Donations may be dropped off at the school, located at 490 Jefferson Ave., any time during school hours or on January 4, 11, or 18, from 9 a.m. to noon.
