Summertime Fun at Filomena's Starring Comedy On Demand!

Comedy On Demand (COD) is excited to announce its
first comedy improv show at Filomena’s in Waterford – Thursday, August 7
at 8:30! Summer weekends start on Thursday, right (at least in our
minds)? So what better way to kick off that hazy, crazy, four days of
fun than with a rib-tickling show and tummy-satisfying meal?

The “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” style show will feature skits, scenes,
and songs made up on the spot and based on suggestions from the
audience. COD, a professional Connecticut-based troupe now in its 10th
year, features Dave Caffrey, Robin Fox, Casey O’Neill, Michele Ridolfi
O’Neill, and Anna Maria Trusky — five grown adults who enjoy acting like
famous celebrities, toddlers, movie monsters, deep-sea divers,
compulsive belchers, jugglers, aliens, proctologists, alien
proctologists, or whatever suggestions our audiences throw at us! COD
has performed in such venues as Foxwoods, the Essex Steam Train, Deep
River Town Hall Auditorium, Clinton Town Hall, Chester Meeting House,
Adams Mill, Cherrystones, Gelston House, and Iron Chef.

Filomena’s, which specializes in “Italian with a twist” and was named
one of Connecticut Magazine’s Best Family Restaurants in 2013, will be
working up some delicious specials that tie into the show!

The
show will run 8:30 until 10:00. Seating is limited and RESERVATIONS ARE
STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. Tickets for the show are $10 in advance with
reservation, $15 at the door. Dinner and drinks are a la carte. To
reserve a seat or table, call 860-437-1010. Filomena’s is located at 262
Boston Post Road in Waterford.
