We have payment plans as well as process in place to help offset, or supplement the fees themselves. In spite of all that we are still the lowest cost Little League in the Area, by a wide margin.

Any player not signed up by March 5th, is subject to a $10 late fee charge.
Any Major player not signed up by the draft for majors, loses their right to play majors and then must play Triple A.

Some news from Little League - the requirements for where you can play have changed this year. In the past you could only play in the league where you lived. This year LL has decided to allow any players to play where they live, as well as where they go to school. What this means is that any player who goes to a school with in the New London City limits can play for the NLLL. A form will need to be filled out by the school, and handed in prior to opening day, these forms will be available at registration. The schools are being made aware to expect them as well.

Some thoughts from the NLLL President: Some of you may be aware but if not there is a lot of new and exciting things happening this year in Little League.
1. Little League as a whole was established in 1939, thus making this year the 75th birthday of Little League in this country. That in and of itself would be a great item, but also if my information is correct NLLL began here in 1951, so we are celebrating our 63 birthday today. A lot has happened here since we began, including have 2 leagues at one point in time, to merging and forming one strong league. We've had teams win district, both NL American, National, and even a combined one in 2009. Our goal is to bring more banners home. Last years teams were strong and gave the other teams in district a run for their money.
2. We are always in need for those people willing to volunteer to help the league grow and to teach our kids how to be better people and better ball players. Of special need this year is Softball coaches, managers, and team mom's. As well as Concession workers, field clean up helpers, and a myriad of other items that those who may have no knowledge of the sports can still help in.  Any person willing to help with softball should contact Lisa Potter @ 860-917-8345
