LQM's Lyrical. LUSCIOUS Art Exhibition Opening

'Lyrical. LUSCIOUS' is
LQM Gallery's latest exhibition featuring four Chinese artists taking
part in the ICAS (International Contemporary Art Space) International
Residency program. Each with distinct artistic visions, inspirations
and style, their skill and passion is evident in their rich brushwork
and avant-garde treatment of everyday subjects. From the juxtaposition
of ghostly realistic renderings of the figure paired with broad
expressionistic abstract elements to the lose free flowing treatments of
landscapes and still lives rooted in
traditional Chinese style while harking inspiration from western
impressionism, 'Lyrical. LUSCIOUS' gives promise of a distinctively
eloquent visual experience.

Along with this exhibition the
artists will be available to meet with and work along side local artists
and members of the community interested in participating in group
discussions of artwork and culture as well as group figure drawing and
landscape painting sessions.

The exhibit is Free and open to the
