Historian Allegra di Bonaventura leads a tour of Hempsted Houses, then a book discussion of 
For Adam's Sake, with tea, at the Custom House Maritime Museum on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
One of the most-significant books about New London history is Allegra di Bonaventura's recently published For Adam's Sake. Join us for both or either of this two-part event on Sunday, April 6.
At 1 PM, Ms Bonaventura will lead a tour at CT Landmarks' Hempsted Houses -- the site where many events in the book actually took place.
At 2 PM, join Ms Bonatventura for a book discussion / tea up the street at the New London Maritime Society's Custom House Maritime Museum. You've read the book, now here' a chance to ask your questions.

Joint admission to both events is $15, $10 for CT Landmarks and NLMS members.

Admission to the Hempsted House tour, only, is $5 for CT Landmarks and NLMS members, $7.50 for non-members.
Admission to the book discussion / tea, only, is $8 for CT Landmarks and NLMS members, $12 all others.
