Explore the H.L. Hunley with Guntis Goncarovs

Former Colchester resident and historical fiction author Guntis Goncarovs will be at Books & Boos, 514 Westchester Rd., Colchester on September 6 from 5 – 7 PM to present the history of the H.L. Hunley, a confederate submarine and the first sub to sink a ship in wartime. Goncarovs will discuss its history and missions during the Civil War, and offer a compelling narrative of what it was like to be a member of the crew on that risky mission, carefully unfolding the mystery surrounding the H. L. Hunley and its ill-fated crew.
