New London, CT ~ Dr. Brian Cambi will host a discussion about elective angioplasty this Thursday, February 28, at 5:30 p.m. at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
Cardiovascular disease is responsible for one death every 40 seconds. Dr. Cambi, who is the medical director of L+M’s new Heart + Vascular Center, will explain why elective angioplasty is a smart decision for heart health.
Dr. Cambi will also discuss ways to lower individual risk for cardiac disease.
Additionally, Dr. Cambi will discuss the recent state ruling to allow L+M to conduct elective angioplasty. Since 2008, L+M has been performing emergency angioplasty services. The addition of elective angioplasty continues to set L+M as a leader in cardiovascular care.
The talk will take place in Baker Auditorium, located just off the lobby of the hospital’s main campus on Montauk Avenue.
The lecture is free, but space is limited. To reserve your seat, call 860.271.4329.
