Community Real Estate Forum: "Six Reasons Why It’s Time to Buy in New London"

The New London Economic Development Commission will present a community
real estate forum, “Six Reasons Why It’s Time to Buy in New London," for
real estate professionals and prospective home buyers on Wednesday, June 4, at
7:00 PM, at the historic Thames Club on 290 State St. in New London.

Eight speakers will discuss a diverse array of incentives
related to buying a home and living in New London, including diverse dining
experiences, stimulating theatre, inspiring music and art, and glorious views
of Long Island Sound—all within a six mile radius.

Keith Turner of McCue Mortgage and Anthony Silvestri of
Harbour Towers will focus on important new information regarding special low to
mid 3.00 percent 30-year fixed interest mortgages available in New London for
almost any home under $450,000.

Louis Allen, director of the Science and Technology Magnet
High School of Southeastern Connecticut, and Janet Farquhar, named 2014 Teacher
of the Year for New England, New York and New Jersey by Magnet Schools of
America, will address the school system’s transformation into an all-magnet
district.

Mayor Daryl Finizio and City Councilor Michael Passero will
talk about plans for the U.S. Coast Guard Museum and opportunities for economic
development. And Steve Sigel of the Garde Arts Center and Barbara Neff,
Director of Neff Productions, will showcase the diverse array of cultural and
artistic attractions in the community.

opportunity to look at all that New London has to offer and to take advantage
of the multitude of incentives for buying a home here, " says Elaine
Stattler, Chair of New London's Economic Development Commission. "For

assistance, and excellent quality of life here."
