From inside a dream to the often provocative realities of an unreal world comes A. H. Wellewood s maiden literary voyage entitled, The Well: Memoirs of a Schizophrenic. Though having been stricken with paranoia and schizophrenia his entire adult life, Wellewood has succeeded in illustrating an array of challenges posed by the complex and widely misunderstood mental diseases. Narrating a select collection of true stories, his experiences of attempting to rise above the handicaps come into sharper focus than most previous authors in the genre could ever hope. Colored with threads of richly crafted metaphor and creative symbolism, Wellewood appoints his two key-tapping index fingers as a duo superior. Because his duo is expert in navigating every character on any keyboard, Wellewood has created an interesting guide that documents his innermost thoughts: thoughts that might have otherwise been deemed false or delusional. Can an individual s fingertips, extremities that live almost furthest from the mind, be so intelligent? Wellewood thinks so, and so might you after the final page is digested. Whether his story is but a mirage or a keenly accurate account, Wellewood allows those so inclined to join him on his journey to judge. He has certainly asked the right questions in this regard. To arrive at correct answers is worth more than just knowing the conditions exist.
