E.L. CHILD AND FAMILY AUX. CELEBRATES FALL WITH
LUNCHEON, LECTURES, RAFFLES, AND LAUGHTER
Celebrate the first week of fall by pampering yourself. Now that the days and nights are almost equal in time, the air begins to cool, and the leaves begin to change color, mystery buffs and book lovers of all types will not want to miss our Mystery Men on Saturday, September 28th.

· The Auxiliary has planned a special luncheon of salads and focaccia prepared by Best of Everything Country Gourmet. Dessert will be special with homemade cookies and bars prepared by our members.
· There will be delightful luncheon companions.

· Enlightening and entertaining lectures will be presented by our local authors- David Handler and James Benn.
· The authors will be available for book signings
· Your favorite man will enjoy hearing these Mystery Men who have written about World War II and crime-fighting novels set in Connecticut.
· Special raffle prizes of movies, wine, golf, flowers, restaurants, pampering, mystery books and theatre tickets will be presented.
· All profits will support Child & Family Agency’s services to children and families in need in southeastern CT
The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the East Lyme Community Center, Society Road, Niantic, Ct. Tickets can be purchased at Smith’s Acres, Niantic; Dime Bank, East Lyme; The Bowerbird, Old Lyme; Hadlyme Country Market, Hadlyme. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
