has had some success stories in recent weeks. After they each spent several months at the shelter, was adopted and . The following animals are still looking for a loving owner, though. All information is provided by the New London Animal Control page on Facebook.
Chromia: An unusually colored dog, the shelter thinks she's a pit bull mix but can't rule out the possibility that there's a bit of Great Dane in there. Don't worry, she's still on the smaller side. Chromia is about nine months old and 40 pounds, and very friendly and energetic - perhaps a little too much so for young children.
Coal: No one has yet claimed this pit bull youngster, who is probably under a year old. She loves to play and gets along well with other dogs. Coal is friendly, but could also use an owner who can teach her some manners.
Murphy: This orange and white spotted cat was left at the shelter in a carrier that was screwed shut. He's about a year old, good with people and other animals, and seems to be litter box trained. He has not been neutered.
