A parking ban will go into effect at 3 a.m. on Saturday morning due to predicted snowfall.
During the parking ban, on-street parking is not allowed in downtown or on narrow streets. Downtown residents may park for free in the or lots on Eugene O'Neill Drive. On streets where on-street parking is permitted on both sides of the street, residents should only park on the odd-numbered side to allow snow removal to take place.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the area from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. on Saturday. The forecast calls for two to four inches of snow and winds gusting up to 25 miles per hour.
