New London Cancellations And Delays For February 11

New London Public Schools, non-essential city offices, and other sites will not be open today

The following closings and delays have been announced for Monday, Feb. 11:

  • New London Public Schools, New London Adult Education, RMMS, and ISAAC
  • All city offices not related to storm response; no trash or recycling pickup will take place today
  • The Public Library of New London
  • Connecticut state courts and offices
  • OIC of New London County
  • Drop-In Learning Center
  • The Public Safety Committee and Economic Development Committee meetings scheduled for tonight have been postponed
  • Gov. Dannel Malloy has ordered non-essential state employees not to report to work
  • DMV offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday
  • Any artists with pieces in Hygienic XXXIV's Salon des Independents who were unable to pick up their work on Sunday may instead pick it up between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday

Yes, at last check it was. The municipal lots have been reopened and New London residents can still park in the Water Street Parking Garage.

Does he think that just because he has a property in New London and may not truly reside in it, that he is a New London resident. I would be interested in hearing his spin on this.

You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people when they haveRead More Kathleen Mitchell looking out for them. This is just sickening how with all the evidence that Kathleen has provided that Jeff Smith is not suspended as of today. The arrogance of this entire administration is beyond belief. I want to know what the Mayor has to say about this and I also would like to hear from Macrino, Hyslop and Passero.
