The American Cancer Society has announced that it is holding a series of educational and support meetings at for men and families coping with prostate cancer.
The "Man to Man" series begins in October and runs through December of 2013. The series aims to provide a comfortable setting for discussion, education, and support during the recovery process. Sessions include discussions on cancer diagnosis and treatment options as well as everyday life during recovery. Support includes presentations, personal visits, telephone calls, and online information.
The meetings run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the hospital on the following dates:
