Meet Titan The Presa Canario With A Purpose!

PLEASE HELP THIS GENTLE GIANT CONTINUE TO HELP AUTISTIC CHILDREN FIND COMFORT

  • Titan is a  2 1/2 yr. old Presa Canario that we met through a friend at the CT Humane Society. He had a sad story, as many pets do that are relinquished to the Humane Society. His family broke apart, apt. was too small, and new landlord won't allow breeds with a "bad reputation" such as a Presa Canarios. The saddest part about this story is that Titan had been living with an autistic child. He spent his days quietly standing watch on his young friend and spent his evenings sleeping on the child's bed. Titan had been at the shelter since early December and he was deteriorating rapidly. Kennel life is exceptionally hard on these larger breeds. The Humane Society did their best to exercise him and get him out on walks, ,but it is not the same as a family structure in a home. Titan was facing euthanasia if his agression in the kennel kept mounting. CT Animal House offered to have Roman Gottfried of Holistic Pet Services in Greenwhich  come and evaluate Titan for his program. He specializes in ltraining of larger breeds .Roman was very impressed with this gentle giant and felt that Titan was a dog that could offer his help to another family in his area.  CT Animal House  will be transporting this mighty dog this weekend so that he may enter into several weeks of boarding and training before being introduced to his new friend. CT Animal House has set upp a chip in fund for Titan's care and boarding so that he may continue to provide his comfort to others. Please donate to help this wonderful dog that is so deserving of our help! Titan thanks you. Donations made be made to the chip in link below or mailed to CT Animal House Inc. P.O. Box 343 Waterford. CT 06355.
