, 419 Bank Street, has announced on Facebook that it will become a bar and grill called The Pub.
"We want to thank all of the employees and people who patronized us and will honor your Tios Groupons and gift certificates at Hotrodcafe Newlondon or at our new restaurant opening soon at The Tios location," the Mexican grill posted.
The Pub will cook up burgers, salads and prime rib.
"We believe the area will be better served by the Pub as the audience for Mexican Food in this area, many of whom were very loyal and loved the food, was not big enough to sustain the business to my standards," the Mexican grill said on Facebook.
Tio Rodrigo's also announced that Chef Mike will cook up Mexican favorites every Wednesday at The Pub.
The Feb. 4 Facebook post said that they are aiming to open The Pub "the week after next."
