New London Public Works Union AFSCME Local 1378 Elects New Leaders

AFSCME Local 1378 represents more than 75 City of New London workers.

At a recent election of officers, David Kotecki was elected president of Local 1378 of the American Federation of State County and Municipal Workers Union, which represents more than 75 City of New London workers. The City's Public Works Union members also elected Marianna Gaynor McGuirk as Vice-President, Kathleen Harrington as Secretary, Michael Thorpe as Treasurer, and as Executive Board Members  William "Bill"  Barlow, Wayne Burroughs, and Brenda Fleming. 
 
David Kotecki commented this about his election: "The Kotecki family has long represented the workers of the City of New London for the better of 40 years, on and off. I look forward to working With Mayor Daryl Finizio and representing all the Public Works employees, clerical staff workers, and all other members of Local 1378
