According to ConnecticutGasPrices.com, the state average for a gallon of regular gasoline fell a penny since Monday while the national average dropped three cents in the same period. The state average is at $3.53, with Colchester boasts the three stations with the cheapest price in the state: a Phillips 66, Citgo, and Stop & Shop, all with a price of $3.27. That's still higher than the national average, which was at $3.25.

You can get a gallon for $3.44 at the Gulf on Mitchell Street, Mobil on Route 12, and - if you pay cash - the Hess on Route 12.
