There have been some tumultuous topics in this area in recent months, from police department shakeups in New London to quarry spats in Waterford. And while we've seen a lot of conversation on these subjects, we know our audience also has a lot to say when it comes to food.
Recently, the Patch editors in Groton and Stonington decided to hold an informal "food fight" to see which pizza parlor they felt was the best in the two communities. After collecting nominations, readers there cast their ballots for the top picks and ended up choosing Stonington Pizza Palace.
Congratulations to them, but what about if you're looking to get a slice closer to home? There are a lot of good pizza places in New London and Waterford, and Waterford Patch editor Paul Petrone and I want to know which one you think is the top pick among the non-chain places. Here's how it works:
