Fill The Spot: 133 Green Street

What should take the place of Los Amigos Mini Market?

Comparing the photos on the former listing for , some things haven't changed since the fall of 2010. A sign on the side of the building still advertises the products of the family-owned convenience store, including cigarettes and grinders. But the shelves are bare and the store has since disappeared. A "For Sale" sign, its bottom half ripped off, hangs over an old banner listing the Los Amigos products.

The store is located at 133 Green Street, on the first floor of an apartment building. According to city records, the building has been around since 1920 and the store has 1,240 square feet of space.

The store is located at a three-way intersection between Green Street, Union Street, and Eugene O'Neill Drive. It is across the street from one of the major municipal parking lots, just around the corner from , and not far from the Starr Street neighborhood.
