There are three retail spaces in the large building at 13 Washington Street, but only one is now occupied. Bean and Leaf has one of the larger spaces, but it's been the only commercial tenant since Treehugger Salon recently moved to 230 State Street. For today's Fill The Spot, we ask what you think should go into the former salon space.
This property neighbors Bean and Leaf, although an entryway to the upper floors separates the two spaces from one another. The building, owned by Amber Properties of New York, also contains 19 apartments so a new business would no doubt benefit from keeping the noise down. Aside from that, there's plenty of on-site parking and the old fittings for the salon are still in place.
What do you think would be best for this space?
