Fiddleheads Food Co-op Celebrating Fifth Anniversary
New London business, founded in 2008, combining gala with winter farmers market
Fiddleheads Food Co-op will celebrate its fifth anniversary on Feb. 2, combining its regular winter farmers market with extra features.
The celebration will run from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The farmers market will run as usual from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The co-op will also have a birthday cake, children's activities, music, and a 10 percent discount on all purchases. Local farmers and members of the co-op will also be on hand to discuss the role of the business in the community.
The business was founded in 2008 and focuses on providing locally grown, organic, and healthy natural foods.
