Developer Plans Assisted Living Facility
"His facility will be the only one of its kind in inland New London County"
Developer David Kagan has proposed building an 82-unit assisted living complex in Griswold, bringing a much needed facility to the underserved Eastern portion of the state, The Bulletin reports.
“The eastern part of the state is basically underserved for assisted living facilities compared to other sections of the state," Kagan told The Bulletin. "Bridgeport, Danbury, New Haven, Hartford — they all have multiple facilities. You get down toward Norwich and there’s really a lack of facilities.”
