The Shore Line East weekend service to New London, proposed by Gov. Malloy for the 2013 budget, will be a topic of discussion at Thursday's appropriations committee meeting, the Shore Line East/One More Stop Coalition announced in an email.
The Coalition has asked its members to submit statements explaining the need for the expansion of Shore Line East service to New London on the weekends.
According to the email, a representative of the SLE Coalition will speak at the 6 p.m. hearing Thursday evening.
