The Voice, Memphis Beat, and 9 Lives of Chloe King

TV Picks for June 14

The Voice, 9 p.m., NBC

Last week was Team Xtina vs. Team Blake. For the record, I wish Blake Shelton were my husband, boyfriend and daddy. Two from each team will go home. Frankly, I wish three from Christina’s team would go home: Lily, Raquel and Frenchie. And they could swing by and pick up Jared on their way out. Also, for those keeping track, Kris Allen totally did the Kanye thing light years before Dia, and better as well. Tonight, Team Cee Lo vs. Team Adam, which means Stratford’s own Javier Colon will be performing. Don’t forget to vote!

The Nine Lives of Chloe King, 9 p.m., ABCFamily

A new series: “Chloe King is looking forward to celebrating her birthday with her friends and single mother, just like every other year…that is until she starts developing heightened abilities and discovers she's being pursued by a mysterious figure. Chloe soon learns she's part of an ancient race which has been hunted by human assassins for millennia —and that she may be their only hope for ultimate survival.” So she is the cheerleader from Heroes, I guess, except on cable.

Memphis Beat, 9 p.m., TNT

Return of this Jason Lee-cop-show from last summer. I watched it for a few episodes and quickly lost interest. But have at it: “The squad investigates the death of an admired police officer; Dwight meets a tough investigator from Internal Affairs; Rice pushes Whitehead to take the lieutenant's exam.”
