A steady stream of submissions poured into Hygienic Art on Saturday as the 34th annual Salon des Independents came to the gallery.
The event is the centerpiece of Hygienic XXXIV, a series of visual and performing arts events in New London. The show invites residents to submit their artwork, with no fees, censorship, judges, or jury. The pieces in the latest show range from paintings and photography to sculpture and poetry.
The pieces will be up until Feb. 9. Any artists who submitted work to the show should retrieve it between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 10.
