Lyman Allyn Director To Leave for Storrs

Nancy Stula, the executive director and curator of the Lyman Allyn Art Museum will be leaving her post in New London.

Stula has overseen exhibits like "America @ Work, New Deal Murals in New London and Beyond," "Skateboards: Art on the Ply" and most recently, "Mentoring Courtney Love: David LaChapelle and Courtney Love" 

Stula took a position as executive director at the William Benton Museum of Art at the University of Connecticut in Storrs starting July 1, according to the Hartford Courant.

Stula told reporters at the Courant that she's excited to be returning to an academic setting that includes more work with students.
