“Examining dinosaurs’ ability to heal themselves and survive injuries, infections and diseases that would kill most predators today.” Yes, our lions and tigers would probably have a tough time sustaining a Tyrannosaurus Rex bite.

Karaoke Battle USA, 9 p.m., ABC

Karaoke has always seemed to be one of those things that is enjoyable to the person who does it, to their friends, and maybe to the audience if it’s entertaining enough or if they’ve had enough to drink. I guess what I’m saying is go find a bar with a karaoke machine if this appeals to you instead of sitting in front of the TV with a six pack.

Whisker Wars, 11 p.m., IFC

It’s a show about competitive facial hair growing. What more do you need to know?
