We know. It’s been a long week and you’re exhausted. Chinese takeout and your comfiest PJs are sounding pretty good right now. But don’t give up just yet. It’s only Thursday, and there’s lots of fun stuff going on beyond your living room couch this weekend. Check out our picks. 

1. 

WHERE/WHEN: Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Colman Street in New London.

WHY GO: I’m sure it’s been quite some time since you’ve had some.

PRICING: Take your pick—from Italian ice to misto to custard, you’re sure to only spend a few bucks.

2. 

WHERE/WHEN: This Friday at 8 p.m. at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

WHY GO: You know you want to hear “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

PRICING: Tickets are $135 and $210.

3. 

WHERE/WHEN: Saturday at 8 p.m. at the MGM Grand Theater.

WHY GO: It’ll break his “Achy Breaky Heart” if you can’t make it.

PRICING: Tickets range from $20 to $40.

4. 

WHERE/WHEN: Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Port N’ Starboard in New London.

WHY GO: A Waterford resident, Hunter is undergoing chemotherapy to treat cancer. This pasta dinner evening, which includes entertainment, basket raffles and a cash bar, will be used as a fundraiser to help with medical expenses.
