Educated teens and young adults the specifics of being a Veteran while acquainting them with individual Veterans.
Through round table conversations, teens learned things they couldn’t learn from a textbook, to meet real people, rather than learn only facts, and to see from other perspectives.

This education Translated by encouraging the teens to harness their newfound insight and translate it into dynamic exhibits boasting innate artistic flair. The goal was not in creating masterpieces but to use art as a means of communication and unification.
In turn, the teens learned to Appreciate by provoking an appreciation of not only art, but of people by appreciating Veteran sacrifices and celebrating patriotism.
And finally the teens learned to advocateby urging all participants to share these new perspectives with the community at large, promoting creative communication and unity.
This exhibit is open and free to the public from June 11 through July 4, 2012
