'Contemporary Art from the Latin World'

“Contemporary Art from the Latin World” is an exhibit of items in the permanent collection of the Latin Network for the Visual Arts, a local nonprofit organization that seeks to enrich the community through exposure to contemporary art from countries where Romance languages are spoken. This diverse exhibition features paintings, photography and sculpture from artists in Spain, Cuba, Chile, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Peru. There will be a talk and reception on Thursday, Feb. 9, at 4:15 p.m. The exhibit runs from Monday, Jan. 23, through Friday, March 9, and is sponsored by the Center for the Comparative Study of Race and Ethnicity and the Department of History.
