Two Chilean artists invited  to celebrate The Chilean National Month!  Starting the celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States!  “Immersion / Extraction” Art Opening: Saturday,September 15th.  6.00-8.00 P.M.

Expressiones Cultural Center is proud to launch Two Chilean Artist: Chantal Bernsau  and Ignacio Gana, both artist from Chile and the exhibition:  “Immersion / Extraction” . An exhibition of bronze sculptures and jewelry  that is inspired by the Chilean desert and the crystalline waters of the Chilean sea, natural resources for gems and crystals.  Every piece symbolizes an amulet to purify the body, mind and spirit and connects to the internal healer within us. It is an invitation to dare to dream, to fly and be reborn.

Chantal Bernsau

Designer, French teacher and Reiki therapist who created her own brand of jewelry 30 years ago. Her work is considered the precursor of contemporary jewelry in Chile. BACH S FLOWERS AND CRYSTALS, She was one of the first to infuse the craft with modern designs and that is reflected in the constant innovation of her collections of jewelry and accessories. The collections are all handmade with organic and recycled materials accomplished in handcrafting communities.

Ignacio Gana

Born in Santiago, Chile in 1976, received the title of Architect in 2001 from Finis Terrae.
His work has been exhibited in various national and international exhibitions. Gana has achieved recognition with numerous awards and prizes. In 2008 and 2009 he was chosen to represent Chile in the Latin American Art Fair in Chicago. He has participated in art fairs around the world: SOFA Art Fair (New York)
Shanghai Art Fair (China)
MIA, The Miami International Art Fair (Miami)
Lineart (Belgium)
and was Artist in Residence at Expressiones Cultural Center, Connecticut in 2011.


His work can be found in major collections and museums such as MOLAA Museum of Modern Art of Latin American, Ralli Museum, Los Angeles, Guggenheim Museum in Venice.

Exhibit and cocktail opening art reception are  free and open to the public
