America’s Got Talent, 9 p.m., NBC
Last week gave us great hope, as three dance acts went through to the Top 10, one band (Poplyfe, whom we like) and an opera singer. It would be so great if a solo singer DID NOT win this show. Of the dance acts, we love iLuminate but the West Springfield Undead are rapidly growing on us.

Remember I was on vacation for two weeks? With my entire family. All of whom are huge lifelong Red Sox fans (I grew up in Massachusetts). They watch every game on TV from start to finish. This explains why I read so many books.

“The life and death decisions people made during the chaos of the 9/11 attacks help to paint a picture of a day that is etched in the collective memory of the world.” Of course, I had no life or death decisions to make that day, as I was safe in southeastern Connecticut, but we all have those vivid memories, brought to the forefront by the looming 10th anniversary.
